New Bowler Membership

The club wants to encourage new players to the sport. We offer a special rate if you have never bowled for a club before. It is just £10 for your first year. Click on the button below to see more informtion for new bowlers.

Social Membership

If you don't want to play in league or cup competitions, becoming a social member is the choice for you. You can still use the green for practice and to play in non-competitive matches against other club members. You can do that for only £15.

Individual Membership

The most popular level of membership in the club. Being a full member gives you access to all applicable league and cup matches, as well as friendlies. You can also practice at any time, subject to maintenance of the green.

Family Membership

Family membership is based on 2 adults and two children. This level of membership offers substantial savings over four individual memberships.

Local Competitions & Events

Huntingdon & District League

League matches are normnally played on Thursday evenings, though there some Tuesday evening matches this season. The team captain is Campbell Wiseman. The first match is due to be played on the 7th May.

Ladies League

Ladies league matches are played on Monday afternoons, starting at 18:00. The team is always looking for new members, so if you fancy playing please get in touch. The team captain this year is Nicky Verlander.

Millicent Childs (Over 60s) League

Matches in this league are played on Wednesday afternoons, starting at 14:00. A  unique feature of this competition is a mid-game break for tea and biscuits. It's a very friendly league. We welcome new players of any ability. The team captain is Mel Pettit.

Friendlies

Huntingdon Outdoor Bowls Club plays a number of friendlies against various teams from the region. The games are arranged during the season and are quite ad-hoc. As such, dates and times are flexible. John Lock is captain this year. Jim Milligan is pictured for balance.

Joining Huntingdon Outdoor Bowls Club means more than just playing bowls in Huntingdon—it means belonging. Our membership packages are affordable and flexible. Individual annual membership is just £65 for the year for players who have bowled before. If you are starting out, and have never played before for another team, the annual membership fee is just £10. We also offer trial sessions for those who want to give it a go before committing.
